i’m passionate about using music to create positive changes within my community. as an adoptee, a cause of personal importance to me is helping underprivileged children. in 2021, i hosted a virtual benefit concert to raise money for the children’s receiving home of sacramento. this concert was given in partial fulfillment of my san francisco conservatory of music pre college division community engagement certificate.

i’m also passionate about performing. my favorite thing about music is being able to share it with others, whether that’s with an audience or with other musicians. the moment i knew i wanted to pursue music was when i was 14 years old. i was in a rehearsal for one of my first experiences with chamber music. that rehearsal was so inspiring and memorable that i unknowingly decided that it’s what i want to do for the rest of my life. i had never felt more sure about anything in my life and now, i’m here!
